Band Reminders 8/27/14
Everyone (Elementary / Jr. High / High School)
· Band booster meetings will now be on the second Monday of the month. Come check out our next meeting and see how you can help the band. Monday 9-8-14 @ 7pm in the Jr/Sr. High.
· The syllabus/schedule has been passed out. You can fill out the syllabus contact form on our website www.mthealthybands.com or you can return the paper slip.
All High School and Marching Band
· Tag Day – Our most important fundraiser
o Saturday 9/6 from 9am-3pm
o This is mandatory for High School and All Marching Band members
§ If you do not attend you will charged a fairshare fee of $30
o Students should dress in black pants/shorts and a red polo shirt
o Parent Help is needed – we need parent volunteers to drive groups of students in Mt. Healthy to pass out flyers…very simple but very necessary.

o Last year we raised almost 4,500 – that is nearly 40% of our annual band budget
o We need as many drivers as we can get to make this successful. Please Help
Marching Band
· Call time is 4:00pm for our upcoming game against Beechwood (Saturday AUG 28) down in Cincinnati. Our bus will leave at 6:30pm and the game will start at 8pm and I would anticipate us returning at the school between 11- midnight. Please make sure all students wear black socks, a red t-shirt or Mt Healthy Spirt wear and athletic shorts. The game will likely be warm and we all need to be in school colors if we decide to take the jackets off in the stands. Make sure you have all pep band music and lyres.
