Membership in the Mt Healthy High School Band brings with it a few financial responsibilities. The financial responsibilities in membership are directly related to the activities mentioned in previous pages. The expenses for Band would include, but may, in some instances, not be limited to:
What does my money get spent on?

New (Rookie) Members (also receive)

The overall costs associated with marching band can add up quickly. May of the activities that we participate in require upfront payment and the Mt Healthy Marching Band collects fees after the fact to recoup these costs.
Since this year we will be attending away band camp - AT LEAST 75% OF BAND FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO DEPARTING. This ensures that our booster organization stays solvent and is able to cover our expenses that we incur. Here is a suggested Fee Payment schedule in order to help spread out payments based off of the 250.00 rookie fee May 15th (required)- $50 - NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT DUE June 15th - $100 July 15th - $50 I understand that financial hardships may occur, if you feel that you may not be able to have 75% of all band fees paid by July 31st please contact Mr Q in advance in order to work out a payment plan. |
Fees: ($50 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT due by MAY 30, 2018 to secure band camp spot)
Rookie (new members) - $250
Veterans - $200
*This total includes the cost for all of band camp and performance related costs throughout the football season. This does not cover any additional trips that we may take throughout the year as those trips are 100% optional and may require a fee outside of the normal band fee schedule.
**The uniform rental covers the cost of cleaning and routine wear and tear. If the uniform is treated improperly by a student and that results in above average wear and tear then student will be charged an additional fee 15 for above average wear and tear and 25 for extreme wear and tear. Students will also be charged for any part of the uniform that is lost. Students must keep track of their equipment and treat it with respect.
Fee amounts are subject to change. You will be given advance notice of any changes to the fee schedule listed above. Fees are to be paid before services are received. Unpaid Band fees will result in loss of performing privileges. Unpaid band fees will be added to the students school fees.

Making Payments
We spread the payments over a number of months to help families budget for the cost of Marching Band. If you would like to pay in one sum, weekly or bi weekly you are welcome to do so.
